What does it mean to be a Key Client Manager at Management Events?
Being a Key Client Manager (KCM) means you're in constant contact with the highest-level decision makers, gaining insights into some of Europe's largest organizations. You're the one that builds the human connection and are the main contact point for the participants. As a KCM you really get to dive deep into the internal structures and processes of these organizations and understand the changes and challenges of various industries (e.g., Retail, Automotive, or IT), all while building an incredible network of decision-makers. I always say that the key point here is, "in the end you get to talk to people that do cool stuff".
What growth opportunities do you see in the Key Client Manager role?
In this role, I got the opportunity to develop alongside my passion. I started as a Key Client Manager 2.5 years ago. Today, I am the head trainer of the whole function. I have always been energized by coaching others and wanted to develop myself and this direction. So, the company knew it, and from day one encouraged me to thrive and grow within these skills.
Describe your typical working day
The most fun part of my job is putting words into action. Seeing and hearing your clients had an inspiring content-episode, had a great meeting with a solution-partner or made new connections at a social get together, feels rewarding and motivates me. Some days can be pretty hectic with having your day fully-scheduled with meetings with the delegates, whereas other days you have the entire day to put a new project into action.
